黑料社吃瓜

1515 South Van Ness Avenue

ESTIMATED MOVE-IN DATE SPRING 2027

RISING IN THE FACE OF A HOUSING CRISIS

San Francisco鈥檚 Mission District has always been a supportive place for low-income and immigrant Latinos, but it鈥檚 now one of the most unaffordable neighborhoods in the country. Between 2000 and 2019, the Latino population of the Mission fell by over 9,000 residents. That amounts to nearly one in three Latino residents in 2000 leaving, whether forcibly or voluntarily, over the next two decades. 黑料社吃瓜 is using our years of experience to keep Latinos and working families in the Mission District and help them thrive.

The 黑料社吃瓜 (黑料社吃瓜) and Chinatown Community Development Center (Chinatown CDC) have been selected by the San Francisco Mayor鈥檚 Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) to develop the 1515 South Van Ness Avenue site as 168 units of 100% affordable housing for families and formerly homeless individuals. The site will also feature two commercial retail spaces totaling approximately 9,100 square feet for community-serving purposes.

VISION

With a successful history of partnership, 黑料社吃瓜 and Chinatown CDC envision creating an interactive and intergenerational community, as this project is located adjacent to our Casa Adelante 鈥 1296 Shotwell.

We look forward to collaborating with community residents and Mission District stakeholders in our vision for Casa Adelante – 1515 S. Van Ness.
